Community Updates
An underground piping project is currently underway on South Point Drive. We are working as quickly as possible to complete this project which is anticipated to be completed by the beginning of November. We thank everyone for your patience and cooperation while this work is happening.
Public Safety Dispatch Office located at 40 Westwind Road has many different types of sporting equipment available for residents to use such as tennis racquets/ball, volleyballs, ping pong equipment, etc. If you wish to use any of the equipment available, you simply need to check it out at 40 Westwind/Dispatch Office by leaving a photo ID.
Management Notes
Bidets which are attached to the toilet are not permitted at Harbor Point as the plumbing is not equipped to handle them and unauthorized installation of bidets have resulted in units being flooded. If you wish to use a bidet, please use a hand-held, portable one which is not affixed to the toilet.
During a snow emergency on property, visitor parking is not permitted. Please plan accordingly if you are expecting visitors during a snowstorm.
We have two parking garages with covered parking available for residents wishing to rent a space. Garage rentals are for a four- month minimum. If you are interested in a covered garage space, please contact the Management Office. NOTE: please remember the upper garage at 66 Beach Point is for vehicles with resident stickers ONLY and there is no fee to park in this area.
Spaces designated for electric vehicle charging may be used for this only; please do not simply park your vehicle in a charging station parking space. Also, residents may not be charging their vehicles in any other area on the property such as by running extensions cords from outdoor or indoor outlets.
Maintenance Notes
To avoid pests in your home, please make sure all food is properly stored in the kitchen. If you wish to store food elsewhere such as in closets, please make sure all food is kept in air-tight containers. Promptly remove trash from your apartment by placing it down the trash chute or bringing it to a dumpster near your home.
Essential Tips for Staying Safe and Ready During the Cold Season
With the colder weather approaching, please plan accordingly. If you have a vehicle, please make sure you have a window scraper and shovel to be able to move the snow from around your vehicle and move it from its parking space according to the parking rules and regulations. All vehicles with resident parking stickers must have the placed on the lower left-hand corner of the front windshield. If a sticker is placed anywhere else, it may not be seen by Public Safety and may be towed from the property.
While loss of power/heat due to snowstorms is not a usual occurrence at Harbor Point, please plan accordingly and make sure you have flashlights, batteries, bottled water, additional medicine, etc. in the event of an anticipated storm.
Please leave the heat on low, even if you are not home, during the cold weather. This will avoid frozen/broken pipes within your apartment.
