Community Updates

The Harbor Point pools will be opening on May 25, 2024. They will be open 12-8 on Saturday and Sundays until June 17. As of June 17th, the pools will be open 12-8:00 PM, 7 days a week. Please remember to bring a current photo ID to use the pool. A fitness fob is required to access the gym.

Effective immediately, the fitness center will open at 5:00 AM (instead of 6:00 AM) Monday through Friday and closed at 10:00 PM. The center is open 8-8 on Saturday and Sundays.

With the warm weather approaching, we would like to remind residents that we are required to provide heat from September 15 to June 15th. Therefore, the air conditioning will not be available to residents in buildings and rehab units until this date. Window a/c units are not permitted on the property due to safety concerns.

We strongly encourage residents to obtain renter's insurance during their tenancy at Harbor Point. This insurance protects and covers your personal belongings in the event of a fire, flood, etc.

We have several grills located on the property which are available for residents to use. Please contact Public Safety at 617-282-3555 to reserve a grill; you will need to provide them with the date/times you wish to use it as well as the grill number.

With the nice weather approaching many people are spending time outdoors. We have many different types of athletic equipment for residents to borrow such as tennis racquets/balls, ping pong balls/racquets, frisbees, volleyballs, etc. You simply need to bring a photo ID to the Public Safety Office at 40 Westwind Road.

The boardwalk along the ocean is open from dawn to dusk. This area is patrolled by Public Safety and the MA State Police.

Harbor Point Celebrates First Tech Goes Home Graduating Class

We recently hosted a computer class for residents who wish to learn the basics. Several residents were given a laptop and free internet service for a year through the program in which they were enrolled.

Congratulations to Chaquise Davis!

We would like to congratulate Chaquise Davis on her promotion; she is now working with the Compliance Coordinator as an Administrative Assistant.

Management News

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Jonathan Figueroa, the newest addition to the Management Office team. If you have a moment, please stop by to greet him and make him feel at home.

Motorcycles are permitted to park on site as of March 15th but are not permitted to be covered as the parking sticker must be visible at all times. If you do not have the current motorcycle sticker (blue), please come by the Management Office to obtain a new one. All motorcycles must be properly registered.

Tech Tips: Five tips for safe social media practices

1. Be Selective with Friend Requests: Only accept friend requests from people you know and trust. Avoid adding unknown individuals or accounts that appear suspicious.

 2. Limit Personal Information: Be cautious about sharing personal information on social media platforms. Avoid posting sensitive details such as your full address, phone number, or financial information. Keep your privacy settings updated to control who can see your posts and personal information.

 3. Think Before You Share: Before posting anything on social media, consider the potential impact and who can see it. Be mindful of sharing vacation plans, upcoming events, or information that could compromise your security or privacy.

 4. Report Suspicious Activity: If you come across suspicious accounts or encounter any form of harassment, spam, or inappropriate content, report it to the social media platform. Reporting such activity helps maintain a safer online community.

 5. Stay Aware of Privacy Settings: Familiarize yourself with the privacy settings offered by the social media platforms you use. Regularly review and update these settings to ensure they align with your desired level of privacy and security.
